CODie ISMAN was designed for the particular needs of shipping lines and ship management companies in the field of ship maintenance. The advantage of this programme is to make onboard maintenance more transparent, more flexible, easier to supervise and more cost-effective. In other words, to significantly simplify the administration of an enterprise vessel. A further aim of this software is to minimise idle periods of the vessel’s life, like repair days and off-hire times.
As a result of our success in achieving these aims, the PMS has been certified by GL and DNV.
The functions of maintenance and administration are distinct aspects within the owner’s need to control and monitor a vessel. For this reason, we have created two different versions of the programme: a vessel version and a shore side version. One version has been designed to run at the shipping company’s headquarters (company version); the other on the vessel itself (vessel version).
To ensure that these two versions operate seamlessly together, we have integrated a fully automatic data transfer system. This connects the vessels to the ship management company’s offices and vice versa, creating a smooth online control process that is both easy and efficient.
To the integrated modules in CODie ISMAN additional modules are available e.g. a purchasing system and the customised electronic ISM modul CODie TIQUAM. This ISM system provides an electronic organizer for circular letters and company notes too. Already in CODie ISMAN integrated moduls are for example a spare part administration database, a fully integrated office management unit, a monitoring system for vessel’s certificates and much more.
To complement these functions, we have also developed CODie ISMAN Claims and CODie ISMAN Damages, which enable ship owners to keep full control over all open guaranty claims or charterer & stevedore damages in one centralised, user-friendly programme. This two programmes builds up together with CODie ISMAN New Building the CODieBOARD#supervision-center.
All of these modules can be either integrated in the main CODie-ISMAN programme or used as stand-alone systems. These state-of-the-art programmes complete the full suite of CODie ISMAN software products.
